Planning to Plan for Nanowrimo 2009
This weekend, as I pondered what I might be doing the rest of this year–after the long-awaited completion of my current project–I remembered Nanowrimo. This neverending project stomped on last year’s Nanowrimo participation. Not this year, though.
I’ll be writing a short-ish, 50K word novel come November.
So that decision is out of the way.
Now I just have to decide what it is I’m going to write.
Back in 2006, before my first Nanowrimo, I actually did a “practice run”, writing a 30K-ish word novella in September. Maybe I should do that again this year. Sort of a “ramp up” to Nanowrimo. Definitely worth considering.
